Cristy Fermin, in one of her episodes on Cristy Ferminute, revealed that she was saddened after learning that Nadine Lustre wasn’t able to complete her high school studies.

Despite this, the veteran showbiz columnist was still impressed with the actress because she did not blame her parents for being unable to complete her studies.

She surmised that perhaps it was because whatever emotions she might have towards her uncompleted studies is balanced by her love for her work as an actress.

“Nalulungkot lang ako dahil hindi siya nakapagtapos ng high school, pero sa kabila no'n, hindi niya sinisi ang kanyang mga magulang, dahil bumalanse iyon sa pagmamahal niya sa kanyang trabaho,” Manay Cristy said.

The veteran showbiz columnist also said that Nadine recognizes her debt of gratitude for her work.

“Ang laki-laki ng utang na loob at pagmamahal niya sa kanyang ginagawa,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

She also pointed out that Nadine would often express her gratitude to her parents, friends, relatives, and everyone who became instrumental in helping her achieve her dreams.

“Nandon yung pasasalamat sa kanyang mga magulang, kaibigan, kapamilya at sa lahat po ng mga tao na naging materyal sa pagtupad ng kanyang mga pangarap. Nakakahanga siya,” Manay Cristy said.
