Boy Abunda recently tackled the circulating poster of “Wow Bulaga,” a show that will allegedly replace “Eat Bulaga.”

During the "For Today's Talk" segment of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Boy showed the poster claiming that it will be hosted by Willie Revillame, Allan K, Bretman Rock, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Miguel Tanfelix, Tyronia Fowler and Rosmar Tan.

The King of Talk then said that according to his source, the viral poster is not true.

“May lumabas po na poster na ang title diumano ng palabas na papalit sa 'Eat Bulaga' ay 'Wow Bulaga' starring Mr. Willie Revillame, kasama ni Bretman Rock, andiyan si Allan K, and then Wally and Jose are also there, and Miguel Tanfelix.”

“Nais lamang sabihin ng aming source, isang mapagkakatiwalaang source po dito sa GMA-7 that this poster is not true. This is a fake poster, 'yun ang pagkakasabi. Hindi po ito totoo.”

Furthermore, Tito Boy urged the public to wait for GMA and Eat Bulaga’s official statement on the noontime show’s purported problems.

“At hindi rin natin maitatatwa, ako personal, I wanna make a stand, merong pinagdaraanang challenges ang 'Eat Bulaga' pero antayin po natin ang kanilang official statement. Ang official statement po ng GMA-7, ng 'Eat Bulaga' para malaman ho natin ang buong kwento, ang katotohanan para we can stop speculating.”

Eat Bulaga is a Philippine TV variety show aired on the Kapuso network. Its pilot airing was on July 30, 1979 and it is still helmed by the trio hosts Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, and Joey De Leon.

Joey de Leon caught the netizens' attention with his recent Instagram post. The famous TV personality reacted to some rumors about the afternoon show, 'Eat Bulaga.' He even posted a screenshot of a write-up about the issue. Furthermore, he captioned his post with, "Actually, natatawa at natutuwa ako sa mga pangyayari kasi pinag-uusapan pa rin kami hanggang ngayon."

Lolit, in a recent socmed post, said that no one could replace the trio of Tito, Vic, and Joey. The veteran showbiz columnist made this observation after rumors surfaced that "Eat Bulaga," along with its main hosts and other members, will soon be replaced with a fresh program with new hosts. According to Manay Lolit, no one, not even Willie Revillame, could match the humor and charms of Tito, Vic, and Joey.
