Anne Curtis took to Instagram and shared her joy with her followers at having been able to successfully finish the Tokyo Marathon.

She said that every single kilometre was actually worth it knowing that she ran in order to help Filipino children.

"Officially a @tokyomarathon finisher. Every single kilometre was worth it, knowing I was running to help Filipino children heal and recover through the funds WE (yes, this includes every single one of you that donated) raised together."

Now that she is a mother, she became emotional when she finally crossed the finish line.

For Anne, knowing that she is running for a purpose way bigger than simply receiving a medal, fueled her drive.

That way, they would be able to help more children to receive the services that they need.

Anne is a prominent actress, TV personality, recording artist, model, and VJ who began her career as a child star. Her husband is Erwan Heussaff, and they got married in New Zealand way back in November 2017. They now have a child named Dahlia Amélie Heussaff, who was born on March 2, 2020.

Anne, in a social media post, is asking for prayers from the general public, oftentimes referred to by the It’s Showtime host as “madlang pipol.” In her post, she also outlined the things that she needed to do and accomplish before and after joining the said marathon. Among these are testing negative for contagious diseases and passing kilometer markers before sweepers do their work. She then asked her followers to pray for her and also called on those generous ones to donate to the UNICEF Philippines through the link in her bio.
