Cristy Fermin has rebuked Liza Soberano's new statement, where she expressed her gratitude to ABS-CBN and the people she's worked with.

In the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, KAMI learned that the veteran columnist called out Liza's decision to thank everyone after dropping her vlog.

Previously, Liza made headlines after posting a 14-minute vlog where she talked about her career in the showbiz industry.

Among the things that Liza mentioned in her vlog was her screen name, which she said she couldn't choose.

"Nakakaloka ano, pwede pa rin daw siyang tawaging Liza. Yun pa rin daw ang gagamitin niyang pangalan at nagpapasalamat daw siya sa ABS-CBN at kay Ogie Diaz dahil sa ginawang pag-suporta sa kanyang karera. Ngayon ka lang magsasabi ng ganyan? Kung kailan pinailanlang mo na yung kawalan mo ng utang na loob?" Cristy asked.

Halfway through her discussion with Romel Chika, Cristy said that some bashers have started to call Liza 'Hopeless Soberano' online.

"Ngayon tuloy, anong sabi ng mga bashers niya? May bago na siyang titulo ngayon at pangalan, 'Please welcome, Hopeless Soberano,'" she said.

Meanwhile, Cristy Fermin has praised Kylie Padilla for defending Aljur Abrenica's new partner, AJ Raval. Once, in a Facebook live, Kylie clarified again that AJ was not the reason behind their break up. She also asked netizens to stop bashing AJ and to refrain from calling the latter a 'homewrecker.'
