Liza Soberano’s dad has come out with a statement regarding the events and controversy surrounding the career of his daughter.

In a video shared by columnist and TV host MJ Marfori, Liza’s dad issued a short statement to the viewers of the TV host.

The words spoken by Liza’s father is a bit garbled, though MJ wrote a caption alongside the video so people would understand what the actress’ dad talked about.

According to MJ, this is the reply of Liza’s dad to people who have been calling the actress ungrateful.

“#LizaSoberano’s dad #JohnCastilloSoberano has a short message to the people calling her daughter ungrateful,” MJ wrote as caption in her post.
“Since you guys are all hurt i’m very sorry,” Liza’s dad began.

He, however, said that many just don’t understand his daughter.

“For what you guys didnt understand,” Mr. Soberano said.

It can be recalled that Liza opted not to renew her contract with ABS-CBN and then signed one with Careless, the music label of James Reid.

The actress is now in the US and is trying to take her shot at being discovered by the American film industry.

Recently, Liza released a vlog and revealed details about why she left her manager, Ogie Diaz, and ABS-CBN.
