Ogie Diaz recently defended Ria Atayde from her bashers who have been making remarks about her becoming a calendar girl.

Previously, the actress made headlines after she was chosen to be White Castle Whisky's calendar girl for this year.

Following this news, KAMI learned that Ogie and 'Mama' Loi Villarama talked about the reaction of the bashers regarding the matter.

"San ba tayo galing dito? Si Sassa Gurl nga kinuha diba?" Ogie said, recalling Sassa Gurl who became a calendar girl back in 2022.

Ogie then went on to defend Ria, "Nung araw kasi, sanay ang mga tao na sëxy girls talaga. Ito kasi parang hindi sila sanay na hindi na sëxy girl at chubby girl daw ang kinuha sa katauhan nga nitong si Ria Atayde. Pero sa totoo lang ah, jusko, pag nakita niyo si Ria Atayde. Una, kaganda-ganda ng mukha. Yung katawan, kaya mong tanggapin."

Upon hearing this, Loi chimed in and said that Ria is actually voluptuous, "Yung figure niya nay, voluptuous."

Aside from this, Ogie also cracked a joke, "Walang pinipili sa mga gustong uminom. Ikaw ba, pag iinom ka ng liquor, 'Ay wag. Hindi ka sëxy, wag kang uminom ng alak.'"

Ogie Diaz, or Roger Diaz Pandaan in real life, is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also the man behind the YouTube channel, “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He later went on to become a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano.

As previously reported by KAMI, Ogie Diaz penned a tweet where he lamented about the increasing price of eggs. In his post, the comedian-talent manager could not help but ask, “Kaya pa ba?” His post then garnered numerous retweets and likes from netizens. It can be recalled that Ogie previously took to social media as well to rant about the soaring price of onions.

Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz talked about McCoy de Leon and Elisse Joson in his 'Showbiz Update' vlog. In the said vlog, Ogie recalled his interview with the couple back in 2022. According to Ogie, if one would observe closely, Elisse and McCoy kept looking at each other. This prompted Ogie to say, "Naniniwala ako na sa isang relasyon, hindi naman normal na hindi nag-aaway."
