Andrew Schimmer was interviewed by Julius Babao during the wake of the former’s long-time partner, Jho Rovero.

During the interview, Andrew shared that even though her wife had been in a coma for a year already, she seemed relatively fine just hours before her death.
He was also at the GMA studio to participate in the game show Family Feud when his wife died. The actor revealed that he told the doctors to do everything they could to revive Jho but to no avail.
He added that he even stayed with Jho’s body even in the morgue where she was embalmed. According to Andrew, he and Jho were already planning to get married before she fell into a coma a year ago. Andrew then planned to marry Jho in January 2023 even if she was in a coma but she died before that could happen.

For his final message to Jho, he confessed to her that his heart got broken by her death. However, she thanked her for fighting hard amid her painful health ordeal. He also asked her to spiritually stay with him and their two children in the meantime.
Andrew shed a lot of tears throughout the interview with Julius.
“Mommy, you know right now I'm breaking. You can sense that my heart is falling apart. Alam ko yung hirap ng pinagdaanan mo. Alam ko yung pain and suffering ng experience mo na ito. You fought hard. So for that, maraming salamat. Kulang ang salitang 'salamat.'
“Wag mo muna ako iiwan. Don't cross that line yet. Masaya na ako na nararamdaman kita. You're my guiding light. Hold my hand. Wag ka muna totally magpaalam sa amin. We need you,” Andrew said.
Julius Caesar Concepcion Babao is a Filipino journalist and radio commenter who used to be under the Kapamilya network, previously working for ABS-CBN for 28 years. He announced his departure from the network back in December 2021. He is also married to Christine Peji Bersola, a multi-media personality.
As previously reported by KAMI, Julius Babao took to social media to express his frustration over the food they received from a pizza chain. In a 2-minute video clip posted on Facebook, the radio commenter claimed that the pizza has plastic below the cheese. According to Julius, "May plastic, tapos yung dough nasa ilalim, sa ibabaw, pinatong nila yung cheese dun sa plastic."
Meanwhile, Julius Babao and Christine Babao underwent colonoscopy and endoscopy tests. Both of them were diagnosed with GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease). Furthermore, Christine shared that three polyps were found in her body and four in Julius’s. Fortunately, their doctors told them that the polyps are not cancerous.
