Cristy sa pagiging tikom-bibig ni Sarah Geronimo sa isyu ni Mommy Divine: “Di po si Sarah ang makakaresolba”

Cristy Fermin once again had a commentary on the controversy involving Sarah Geronimo’s mother, Divine Geronimo.

In the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” the showbiz columnist said several entertainment reporters have been trying to ask for Sarah’s statement on her mom’s issue with her employees.

“Ang dami-dami na pong nagtangka na mga kasama kong manunulat, mga vloggers, lahat na po. Lahat ay humihingi ng masasabi ni Sarah Geronimo tungkol sa isyung ito ng kanyang ina pero wala po siyang anumang komento,” Cristy aired.

Cristy went on to express why she thinks Sarah is keeping mum about the issue.

“Hindi niya po ito kinokomentuhan, siyempre pa, dahil napakasakit naman talaga para kay Sarah ang inaabot ni Mommy Divine na reklamo ng kanilang mga tauhan ngayon.”

"Opo, Nay. At kung sasali pa siya, makakadagdag lang ito sa ingay lalo. Lalong lalawak at lalawak ito," Cristy’s co-host, Romel Chika, said.

Cristy then agreed with Romel and aired her belief why it is better for the pop star to remain silent on the matter.

“Totoo 'yan. At saka hindi po si Sarah ang makakaresolba ng problema ni Mommy Divine sa kanilang mga empleyado, kundi mismong ang kanyang ina. Ano po ang magagawa ni Sarah? Magkokomento siya, hahaba nang hahaba. Kaladkad na nga po ang pangalan niya. Puhunan na nga siya sa isyung ito.”

“Kaya naku, mga Kapatid, 'wag po nating asahan at alam ko namang hindi magbibigay ng anumang pahayag si Sarah tungkol dito,” Cristy added.

Sarah Geronimo is one of the top Filipino singers of her generation. She rose to popularity when she emerged as the winner of the television singing competition “Star for a Night”. She is also an endorser and an actress who has made several blockbuster hit films. She is married to Matteo Guidicelli.

Sarah’s mother, Mommy Divine, is currently under fire due to an accusation that she has been mistreating their staff. This was after Ogie Diaz and Mama Loi tackled in their previous ‘Showbiz Update’ vlog the alleged complaints of one of Mommy Divine’s employees. In the latest ‘Showbiz Update’ episode, Mama Loi said they got a call from another employee of Mommy Divine. The said employee purportedly defended Mommy Divine and debunked the accusations against the latter.
