Cristy Fermin sa temporary liberty ni Vhong Navarro: “napakalaking bentahe na po nito”

Vhong Navarro created a buzz after the Taguig Regional Trial Court granted his petition for bail. He was allowed to post P1 million for his temporary liberty.

Cristy Fermin, during “Cristy Ferminute” on Tuesday, then aired a commentary on the news.

In the said program, Cristy ecstatically aired, “Alam po namin, naghuhumiyaw kayo sa kaligayahan ngayon dahil dininig ng Diyos ang matagal na nating hiling na sana po ay mabigyan ng pansamantalang kalayaan si Vhong Navarro.”

“Ito po 'yung talaga namang ikinalulundag sa tuwa ng kanyang pamilya, ng kanyang mga katrabaho, ng kanyang mga tagahanga.”

However, she reminded, “Nandiyan pa rin po ang kaso, patuloy pa rin po ang pagdinig ng dalawang kasong inihain sa kanya ni Deniece Cornejo.”

“Pero ang mahalaga po, makakasama na niya ang kanyang pamilya ngayon at makapagtatrabaho na siya,” she continued.

Furthermore, the veteran showbiz columnist considers the court’s decision an advantage for Vhong.

“Ito kasi ay temporary liberty pa lamang po pero napakalaking bentahe na po nito para kay Vhong Navarro dahil, Diyos ko, hindi po ganu'ng kasimple ang nakapiit ka. Setyembre pa, September 19 pa nakakulong na siya.”

Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He was part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is one of the pioneer hosts of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime."

It can be recalled that just a couple of weeks ago, Navarro was transferred from the NBI to Taguig City jail. Cristy Fermin then expressed her honest thoughts on the actor's present physique after photos and videos of his transfer to the Taguig City Jail went viral. According to Cristy, Vhong obviously became slimmer.

Recently, the court has fixed P1 million bail for Vhong's temporary liberty in connection with the charges filed by model Deniece Cornejo. An official court document dated December 5, 2022 stated that the court is not convinced that there exists a presumption leading to the inference of guilt on the part of the actor.
