“No,” Tom immediately replied.
“If that’s the worst that someone can call me, that’s not an insult to me. A lot of the best people…most of the best people I know happen to be of that persuasion. Happen to be gay. Best people I’ve known,” the actor added.

He then reiterated that if that’s the only allusion towards him, he doesn’t feel insulted.

“So, kung ayun lang inaano, hindi insulto para sa akin yun,” Tom said during the interview.

The actor also recalled that he’s been asked so many times in the past about the same question and at this point, he can’t do anything if people would not believe him.

The actor also said that the allusion doesn’t bother him as it’s not the truth anyway.

“So, anyway, I don’t mind hearing it. Its not the truth but it doesn’t bother me. So, no, ganu’n lang kasimple,” he said.

The actor also talked about his divorce from his ex-wife, Carla Abellana. In his latest interview with Ogie Diaz, Tom was asked how they were processing the divorce. According to the Kapuso actor, they are working for the divorce to be officially recognized in the Philippines. During the interview, Tom also talked about the "process of moving on" amid his split with the actress.

In the same interview, Tom was frankly asked by the talent manager if he still loves his ex-wife, Carla Abellana. It is worth noting that the celebrity couple stunned their fans when Tom, back in July, announced their separation. Without any hesitation, Tom said "of course" to Ogie, explaining that love never fades easily.
