Cristy Fermin recently aired her honest thoughts on Lolit Solis’ series of posts about fake friends.

During “Cristy Ferminute” on Thursday, Cristy dauntlessly agreed that having a “plastic” friend is fearsome.

“Meron pa siyang sinabi na meron daw mga tao na kung magpakita sa kanya ng kabutihan ay ganu'n na lang. 'Yung parang nagpapanggap na tunay na kaibigan pero idinidiin pala siya bilang isang bully. Nakakatakot daw 'yung ganu'n. Totoo namang nakakatakot makipagkaibigan sa mga mapagpanggap at plastic. Totoo, 'yon. Totoong totoo po 'yon, napakahirap po.”

Cristy then shared her frank opinion about choosing the right friends.

“Dapat po talaga ay masidhi tayo sa pamimili ng ating kakaibiganin," she advised.

"Kasi wala pong akstidente sa mundong ito. Ang pagdating po ng kaibigan ay merong iba-ibang kaangkinan. May pwedeng tutulong sa'tin. May pupwedeng iaangat tayo pataas, may pwede ring tayo'y ibagsak, at pwede ring tayo'y kagatin nang talikuran.”

She further stressed, “Napakahirap po talaga makipagkaibigan sa mga taong traydor at plastic.”

Lolit is an entertainment reporter, talent manager, and host in the Philippines. She is well-known for her frank commentaries on different showbiz, social and political issues in the country.

Recently, Lolit made an accusation against some of the members of Philippine Artists Managers Inc. or PAMI. She said that some members side with her against fellow talent manager Shirley Kuan, while other members side with the latter. However, Lolit said that there are also members who are “plastic." The showbiz reporter said that the “plastic” ones sometimes side with her and then side with Shirley at other times.

Lolit also admitted to getting emotionally affected after she got called a bully by people. The entertainment columnist said that she wants people to remember her with fondness and joy when she passes away. She is merely frank and confrontational and not a bully, Lolit wrote.
