Cristy Fermin sa mga nagsasabing si Toni Gonzaga ang gawing Press Secretary: “Hindi po ito ang kanyang linya”

- During “Cristy Ferminute” on Thursday, Cristy believes that the actress and TV host is qualified

- The showbiz columnist, however, thinks that Toni would not be interested since it is not her line of work

Cristy Fermin recently had a commentary on the news that Paul Soriano was offered the post of Press Secretary but opted to decline it.

Because of the director’s refusal, Cristy said many people are suggesting Toni Gonzaga for the position instead.

“Dahil marespeto po na tinanggihan ni Direk Paul ang posisyon, ang daming nagsasabi na, 'Kung ayaw ni Direk Paul, edi si Toni Gonzaga na lang ang gawing Press Secretary,’” Cristy shared in the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute.”

The veteran showbiz columnist then went on to air her two cents.

Cristy said Toni might be qualified, but she thinks the actress would not be interested because politics is not her line of work.

“Unang-una, kung kapasidad po ang pag-uusapan, pwedeng pwede po si Toni Gonzaga na maging Press Secretary. Pero hindi naman po ito papasukin ni Toni, iba naman po ang takbo ng kanyang karera kaysa dito sa makukulong siya sa mundo ng pulitika. Hindi po ito ang kanyang linya, kung baga.”

Toni Gonzaga, or Celestine Cruz Gonzaga-Soriano in real life, is a famous actress, television host, and YouTube star in the Philippines. She married director Paul Soriano on June 12, 2015, in Taytay, Rizal. Toni then gave birth to their first child, Severiano Elliott or Seve, on September 30, 2016.
