Cristy Fermin recently tackled the rumors that Pia White, the former wife of Terrence Romeo, was already freed from prison.

In the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” the showbiz columnist said there are also hearsays that Pia and her assistant Efcel Reyes’ alleged illegal business is still ongoing.

“Nakapagpiyansa na raw, at saka 'yung assistant,” said Cristy.

“At ang balita pa, tuloy pa rin daw ang kanilang negosyo. Kapag sinabi nating tuloy ang negosyo, ano ba ito? Siyempre ito 'yung naging dahilan kung bakit sila nakulong.”

Cristy then went on to express pity for Ogie Diaz because the P5 million debt that Pia owed him is still not settled.

“At siyempre po, hindi natin maiaalis kay Ogie Diaz na manawagan o maghabol. Ang 5 milyong piso po na kinuha sa kanya ni Pia Romeo ay hindi po napupulot nang barya-barya lamang sa lansangan. Pinaghirapan po ito ni Ogie Diaz, pinagtrabahuhan, pero nauwi lang sa wala. So, sabihin ninyo, lalo na si Pia kung babayaran pa ba niya si Ogie para hindi umaasa pa.”

“Nakakaawa naman 'yung tao, 'no? Puro kayo pangako, puro kayo pangako, wala namang nagaganap, diba?" she added.

Ogie Diaz is a comedian and a talent manager who once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He is also among the most outspoken celebs as he will not mince words when he comments on something, whether it be in showbiz or politics.

Ogie Diaz recently discussed fake news about Vhong Navarro that has been circulating online. Ogie said there are netizens and YouTube content claiming that Vhong was already released from detention. The talent manager also shared that such false news likewise claim that Vhong is set to return to ABS-CBN's noontime show "It's Showtime."

Previously, Ogie Diaz aired some frank messages to Willie Revillame after the latter addressed the criticisms that ALLTV's soft launching received. Mama Loi asked Ogie, “ikaw kaya 'yung pinariringgan ni Kuya Willie Revillame?” Before answering the intriguing question, Ogie could not help but laugh. Ogie then clarified that he was just making constructive criticisms in his now-viral post.
