Carlos Agassi has asked for prayers from netizens on social media after he sustained an injury after having a bad landing, resulting in his knee giving up.

On his official Facebook account, KAMI learned that the former actor posted several photos of his knee and how it has been faring after the accident.

In his viral online post, Carlos said that he could not believe that he cannot walk or even move his leg after sustaining the said injury.

According to the actor, he wishes for nothing but his speedy recovery and hopes that he won't be needing surgery for it.

Carlos also took the time and effort to thank his non-showbiz girlfriend, Sarina Yamamoto, for taking good care of him.

The former actor also mentioned in his post that he thinks he is already retiring from basketball after the accident.

"Please pray for me, had a bad landing and my knee gave and swayed side to side, can't walk or move my leg. Sana speedy recovery and no need for surgery. Thanks my love for taking good care of me. Freak accident before my 43rd birthday, I guess I'm retired na from basketball. Thank you to everyone assisting & being patient with me, thank you so much momskie for helping me & Sarina. Can't believe I can't stand, or walk, or bend," he wrote.
