Carlos Agassi gave an exclusive interview to KAMI about his fitness journey, the COVID-19 pandemic, and his plans for 2021.
According to Carlos, consistency and dedication are the most important factors when it comes to being fit and healthy.
He added that through trials and errors, a person will find out the best exercises and nutrition plan for him or her.
“In everyone’s fitness journey, including the food you eat / diet / supplements and the workout / exercise itself, consistency and dedication is important , so is convenience.
“You should be able to incorporate your exercise fitness routine and the food you eat to your lifestyle. I don’t like calling it diet because it is associated with restrictions, you should find a balance of food and exercise that works for you, as what I learned with experience, trial and error and what they teach in fitness and nutrition. There is no one diet or exercise that fits all. Everybody is built differently and each individual respond better to certain exercises,” he shared.

As for the COVID-19 pandemic, the hunk actor said that the crisis forced him to stay at home more and to appreciate the little things in life that he used to take for granted.
His relationship with his family and even his girlfriend, Sarina Yamamoto, became better because he was able to spend more time with them.
Amidst the pandemic, Carlos also advised the public to be kind to each other both in person and on social media.
“COVID-19 made me stay home more, giving me more time to connect with the things I take for granted in day to day life…
“With them, spend more time with the two women in my life, my momskie / mom / wensky / weng I love her so much and just simple talk while having lunch or dinner or just in the house cleaning is what I miss most when I was a teenager and now able to do. I get to make my dating with Sarina, to become as official, my GF, never did I think I was gonna settle down and be happy with a woman till we get to know each other better, the realization also of things that don’t really matter and matter.
André Brouillette on relationship rumors with Rabiya Mateo: "I can’t control the things that people say"
“And that life now is very difficult and beautiful because of social media. I just hope people in general would be educated to treat each other better as most people due to likes or to be famous trending, don’t care if they hurt or step on other people just to become famous.
"Back in the day, you had to have talent, be respectful and go through the process making you appreciate fame or whatever your goal was. Now getting famous and being canceled is so so fast plus the gang mentality of just hating or liking something or someone without even making sense.
“I just hope we learn to respect each other on social media as we do in real life, in person, face to face,” Carlos shared.
For the year 2021, Carlos has big plans as he is releasing a new album on June 10 with the song “Nais Ko” as the first single.
He also hopes that he can appear on movies or shows either as the main protagonist or the main villain so that he could show the people what he is capable of when it comes to acting.
“I’m releasing my songs from the before and recording new songs. Album coming out June 10 on all platforms… June 10 launching ng song ko entitled ‘Nais Ko’ will be featured on all platforms.
“Hopefully, I will be given a break to act as either leading actor or main kontrabida so I can showcase my talent. Hopefully when the pandemic is over I can’t wait to do my first love which is live performance either hosting or performing," he stated.
