Troy Montero posts video of Rocket's progress; gets teary-eyed about it

Troy Montero recently turned emotional in his latest online post where he shared Rocket's progress when it comes to interacting with other children.

On his Instagram account, @troymontero, KAMI learned that the celebrity dad uploaded a short video clip of Rocket's interaction with another kid.

According to the celebrity dad, he actually got teary-eyed seeing the progress that Rocket made from her short interaction with another child.

Recalling what happened at the café, Troy said a little girl approached Rocket and asked the latter what her name was.

"This moment makes me smile and teary-eyed at the same time. We stopped at a small café yesterday. A little girl approached Rocket and said, 'Hi what’s your name?' Rocket mumbled something back to her and then noticed the little girls necklace," he began.

Troy then expressed how proud he was of his daughter, Rocket, assuring her that while it's not "gonna get any easier," they would always be there for her.

"I’m so proud of Rocket and her progress with other children, but then again I got a little teary-eyed when she was left there alone. It’s not gonna get any easier my little girl but we are always gonna be here for you no matter what," he wrote.

Troy Montero is an actor, born to an American father of German and Irish ancestry, and a U.S. born Filipina mother. His longtime partner is Aubrey Miles, a Filipina actress and a certified plantita. They have two children, one boy, and one girl. Troy is the brother of actor-host KC Montero.

Meanwhile, his wife, Aubrey is raising awareness about autism spectrum disorder or ASD. She revealed that her daughter Rocket has been diagnosed with autism. Some of Rocket’s symptoms include speech delay, hand flapping, no eye contact, repetitive, and communication difficulties. The 3-year-old child is now undergoing speech therapy and occupational therapy.
