Cristy, in the latest episode of Cristy Ferminute, then asked Romel, “Uy, meron ka bang alam na problema ni Vice Ganda dahil kailan lang ay nag-post siya na napakarami raw nangyayari sa buhay niya lately, mga ilang buwan na ang nakararaan?”
“May problema ba sa pamilya niya?”
To which Romel replied, “Iniisip ko nga rin 'yan, Nay, kasi napapanood ko kasi 'yung mga live ng mga kasamahan niya na nagba-bar na naman siya lately... Diba, Nay, lagi nating sinasabi kapag nagba-bar 'yang si Vice Ganda, lumalabas-labas sa gabi, merong pinagdaraanan 'yan, may iniisip 'yan. Gustong maglibang.”
The veteran showbiz columnist also asked her co-host, “So pagka dumadalaw siya sa dating mga comedy bar, meron siyang dala-dala? May bitbit na problema?”
"Parang ganu'n ang nararamdaman ko sa kanya kapag lumalabas 'yan sa gabi," Romel said.
“Teka muna, kasama ba niya si Ion Perez sa paglabas-labas niya?” Cristy queried.
"Hindi, mga bakla ang kasama niya," Romel responded.
This prompted Cristy to wonder about the comedian’s relationship with Ion Perez.
“Ay, alam ko na 'to, ganyan naman siya dati, diba? Kapag may problema, naalala niya ang mga dati niyang kasama. At kung hindi niya nakakasama si Ion Perez, ano sa palagay mo, may problema ano?”
"Kasi sa narration niya, Nay... wala siyang binanggit na Ion. Sa kabila ng mga pinagdadaanan niya, malungkot, masaya, nandyan ang mga Phonies, mga tagahanga niya ang pinasasalamatan niya," Romel aired.
Furthermore, Cristy stressed that Vice Ganda is just a human who also feels exhausted and gloomy at times.
"Alam mo ang taong malungkot, naghahanap ng saya sa labas ng kanyang tahanan. Tatandaan po natin, mga Kapatid, na si Vice Ganda ay tao lamang. Nakakaramdam po ng saya, ng lungkot, ng gutom, ng puyat, ng pagod. At saka ang mga payaso po, lumuluha rin. Nakikita po natin siyang nagpapasaya ng ating mga kababayan, pero hindi po natin alam kung ano ang kanyang saloobin."

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. Vice Ganda and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.
In a previous episode of It’s Showtime, Vice Ganda shared he was not feeling well earlier, which reminded him of Jhong Hilario’s funny messages in their group chat. In the group chat, the noontime show’s hosts penned their well-wishes to Vice Ganda. Jhong, on the other hand, sent a photo of a monkey which he described as “picture ko”.
Vice Ganda’s tweet about Herlene Nicole “Hipon Girl” Budol also made the rounds on social media. In the Twitter post, the “It’s Showtime” host said he got emotional over Herlene’s Binibining Pilipinas 2022 performance. Herlene then took to her Facebook page to gush over Vice Ganda’s tweet.
