Ruffa Gutierrez, inaming madalas silang nag-aaway ni Yilmaz Bektas bago natuloy ang reunion

Ruffa Gutierrez, 48, recently opened up about her daughters' emotional reunion with their dad, Yilmaz Bektas, during her interview with Vicki Belo.

On Vicki's YouTube channel, KAMI learned that the celebrity dermatologist asked how the reunion came about.

According to Ruffa, time heals all wounds and that it just came naturally already thanks to God's perfect timing.

During their interview, Ruffa shared that Lorin and Venice did not see their dad after they left Istanbul back in 2007.

"Was that something na binawalan mo?" Vicki asks, pertaining to Yilmaz visiting his kids to which Ruffa responded, "Hindi naman sa binawalan but I just told Yilmaz, 'Listen, if you wanna see your kids, come and visit them in the Philippines or we'll meet in a neutral country like United States, Europe, anywhere.' Pero wag muna sa Turkey kasi... you can't blame me diba? I guess at that point in my life, I was very afraid."

According to Ruffa, her kids felt as if they were abandoned by their dad which prompted Vicki to ask why Lorin and Venice felt that way.

To the viewers' surprise, Ruffa revealed she and Yilmaz had arguments prior the reunion, "Well, you know, this reunion is 3 years in the making. Every time we would try to set something up, we would end up fighting over the phone. You know, he was supposed to come to the Philippines, kung anu-ano lang. Nagkaka-initan kami. So we didn't talk for over a year."
