Cong. Rowena Guanzon, sa gitna ng official statement ni Ruffa Gutierrez: "Kelan naging purveyor of fake news?"

Cong. Rowena Guanzon took to Twitter and asked when was the time that she became a purveyor of fake news.

"Kelan pa ako naging purveyor of fake news?"

Her next sentence addressed an unnamed attorney, and gave a warning that the lawyer might get disbarred.

"Attorney (who?) baka ka ma disbar."

Thereafter, she added the word and used the hashtag #Bardagulan, "Careful...#Bardagulan"

The solon tweeted about it a day after Ruffa Gutierrez, through her counsel, Atty. Bryant Gamonnac Casiw, released an official statement about the kasambahay issue.

One of the statements that was highlighted at the last part of the official statement was, "our client will explore all legal actions and remedies available, especially against those spreading unverified information/fake news."

Maria Rowena Amelia Villena Guanzon, is a Filipina lawyer. She is a public servant and politician. She served COMELEC from 2015 to 2022.

Cong. Rowena Guanzon took to Twitter and expressed her thoughts about Ruffa Gutierrez. She said that the actress must learn to say "Congresswoman" and followed it with a laugh. The congresswoman also added that the actress must call her 'cong' or she will call her something else. In one of the tweets of Ruffa, where she responded to the inquiry of Guanzon about the house helpers, she addressed the congresswoman as "Ms. Guanzon."

Cong. Guanzon also took to Facebook and posted a photo of her, along with a short caption. She posted a three-word caption, which has the same word "day" that Annabelle Rama used in the latter's recent post. "Wait lang dayy," the congresswoman said and posted her photo. She did not name anyone but her post was done a few hours after the mother of Ruffa Gutierrez wrote a cryptic post about an unnamed 'chismosang marites' who makes stories about the beauty queen.
