The singer-pilot narrated the kind of maneuver that he made, which allowed him to land the plane safely using the 180-degree approach and landing.

As per the caption on the video, as well as on the actual post, he described what happens with a 180-degree approach & landing.

"The power-off 180 approach and landing as an approach and landing made by gliding with the engine idling from downwind to a touchdown beyond and within 200 feet of a designated line or mark on the runway," was how he described the landing."

Ronnie did not specify though if it was a practice run for the kind of maneuver that must be done in case it will be an emergency landing, or if indeed he encountered plane trouble midair.

Many netizens commended Ronnie for a job well done, having safely landed the plane.

Ronnie Liang is a Filipino singer, actor and pilot. He is known for his popular single, "Ngiti." He is currently a reservist with a rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Philippine Army.

Ronnie Liang did not simply join the army but also would go out of his way to help those in need. He has been performing his duties as an army reservist and was seen at checkpoints during ECQ. Recently, he went to the Rizal Stadium, where the LSIs are jampacked, and handed out free tickets so that they could go home. The singer also sang for frontliners to help give their morale a boost.
