The veteran showbiz columnist made this claim about the Star for All Seasons and outgoing Batangas 6th District Representative through a post on her Instagram account.
Manay Lolit said that she appreciates the loving gestures of friends during these times when everything seem to happen so fast.
“Alam mo, talagang na appreciate ko mga loving gestures ng mga friends sa panahon ito na parang ang bilis lahat ng mga nangyayari,” Manay Lolit said.
She then revealed that Ate Vi sent her a “thank you” message through text for her small comments in the veteran showbiz columnist’s columns in PSN and PM.
“Nag text ng Thank You si Vilma Santos sa mga small comment ko sa column ko sa PSN at PM,” she said.
Manay Lolit pointed out how busy Ate Vi must be but was still able to make her a sweet gesture.
“I feel so humble. I feel so honored with their sweetness. Grabe talaga,” Manay Lolit said.
The veteran showbiz columnist said this might be the reason why Vilma’s position is very strong.
“Kaya nga matatag ang puwesto ni Vilma Santos dahil sa hindi siya nakakalimot, nanduon parin ang ugali niya mula pa ng nag uumpisa pa lang ang career niya, hindi nagbago kahit ang layo na ng narating niya,” she said.
She considers herself lucky she has friends like the Star for All Seasons.
“Kaya nga I feel so lucky to have friends like ate Vi,” Manay Lolit said.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities.
Recently, Manay Lolit posted on Instagram about KC Concepcion asking for financial assistance so that her Hollywood movie “Asian Persuasion” can be completed. The filming of the said movie has been completed but more money is needed for the post-production process. The entertainment columnist said that KC should not be responsible for raising funds for the completion of the movie. Lolit added that if the project does not have enough funds, KC can move on to other things.
The veteran showbiz columnist, in a separate post, also talked about Dingdong Dantes having tons of projects despite the difficulty of some to land a job. She said it seems the actor has piles of work he’s doing right now with GMA Network. The veteran showbiz columnist attributed Dingdong’s success to his attributes like easy to work with, professional, and is seldom heard complaining. Manay Lolit also gave a tip to other actors to take a cue from Dingdong so they would also have lots of jobs like the Kapuso actor.
