When it was time to speak, the singer got emotional.
"Mahal na mahal ko po kayong lahat. This is only the beginning, mabuhay ang Pilipinas."
In a tweet, he reposted the video of him getting emotional onstage.

He even added a good caption, which states,

Darren is a proud Kakampink and he has been very supportive of VP Leni's bid for the presidency.
VP Leni Robredo is the incumbent vice president of the Philippines. She is a human rights lawyer. Her husband was the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo. They have three daughters, namely, Aika, Patricia, and Jillian.
