Direk Tonet, niresbakan ang mga bashers ni VP Leni Robredo: “Napaghahalataang walang sariling pag-iisip”

Antoinette “Tonet” Hilario Jadaone, a renowned director who’s famous for the movie “Fan Girl,” recently slammed the bashers of VP Leni Robredo for mocking her for her choice of words.

Earlier, VP Leni greeted Kim Chiu a happy birthday and said that the actress is in a good place now.
“Kim, happy, happy birthday. Magkasunod pala birthday natin. But I want to wish you a very happy birthday. I know you’re in a good place now,” VP Leni said in her video greeting.
Bashers immediately feasted on the statement and roasted the presidential candidate online for apparently addressing Kim like she has died.

Direk Tonet came to VP Leni’s aid and slammed the bashers in a Twitter post.
“Aral siya kamo!!! Iba ang “good place” sa “better place”! Juskooooo!!! “ Direk Tonet tweeted.
She then lamented the penchant of some people to copy-paste comments even though if it is wrong.
“Mga tao talaga, copy paste ng comments ng iba, mali naman!” the famous director said.
She also slammed what she claims is the obvious fact that bashers aren’t thinking clearly, and at the same time, greeted Kim a happy birthday and then mimicked the statement of VP Leni
“Napaghahalataang walang sariling pag-iisip! Happy birthday Kimmy and u really are in a good place!” Direk Tonet said.
Antoinette Hilario Jadaone, more popularly known as Direk Tonet, is a Pinay filmmaker, podcaster, and director. Born on April 3, 1984, she’s a resident director of Star Cinema and is famous for directing That Thing Called Tadhana, Love You to the Stars and Back, Never Not Love You, Alone/Together, and Fan Girl.
A couple of weeks ago, Direk Tonet took to Twitter and reposted the short video clip of Rufa Mae Quinto at the campaign rally of Sen. Manny Pacquiao in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental. The director could not help but get amused at how Rufa actually campaigned for different candidates. She even asked jokingly, "mall tour yarn? Lahvet." It was only recently that Rufa Mae also went up the stage during a UniTeam's rally, which drew a lot of different reactions.
Two years ago, in a congratulatory post of Cornerstone Management Inc., everyone got to know the engagement of some directors. Direk Tonet and her fiancé were then in another country where they were busy with filmmaking.
