Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao, the mom of Senator and presidential aspirant Manny Pacquiao, expressed readiness in serving as an adviser to her son in case he wins the presidency and becomes the new resident of Malacañan Palace.
During a press conference, she was asked what would her role be in case Sen. Manny becomes the president of the Philippines.
“Bilang nanay, kung ano lng naabot ko, kahit maliit lang akong nanay, adviser ako sa kanila,” Mommy D confidently answered.

She also pointed out that she also acts as an adviser to the entire subdivision where they live in General Santos City.
“Katulad sa aming tinitirahan, adviser ako sa buong subdivision namin sa General Santos City,” the mother of Sen. Manny Pacquiao said.
There have been rumors that Sen. Manny would be withdrawing his candidacy though recently, has firmly declared that he will stick to his campaign until the day of the elections.
Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world boxing champion, considered one of the greatest boxers in history. He also found success as a politician, first becoming a congressman before getting elected as a senator. Manny is married to Jinkee Pacquiao, whom he called his best friend. Jinkee and the boxing legend have five children – Emmanuel Jr. (Jimuel), Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace (Princess), Queen Elizabeth (Queenie), and Israel.
Recently, Sen. Manny held his biggest rally yet in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental on Saturday. According to Negros Oriental Rep. Arnie Teves, who organized the event, 80,000 people attended the rally. On his Facebook page, the boxer-turned-politician posted aerial shots from the said rally. Pacquiao also expressed gratitude to Negrosanons who attended the event.
Team Pacquiao also held a grand rally in Cauayan, Isabela where the campaign also shared some photos taken at the event. The pictures include aerial shots showing the said rally’s huge crowd. In the caption, the said presidential aspirant expressed gratitude to the attendees of the event.
