Neri Naig-Miranda, the better-half of Chito Miranda, the Parokya ni Edgar frontman, revealed that she learned how to do business when she was still at a young age.

In her recent post, the actress reminisced about the time she used to roam the streets of Baguio to peddle barbecue, corn, and “pusit.”

She remembered that one of the spots she would frequent to peddle her wares is the Mines View Park.

“Dalaw sa Mines View. Bili bili ng kung ano ano. Nung high school ako, nagtinda rin ako ng mais, pusit, at bbq sa Mines View. Malakas din bentahan kapag summer,” Neri wrote in her post.

She also said that many people think she owes her business success to her status as a celebrity.

“Sabi ng iba, naging madali lang daw para sa akin ang pagnenegosyo kase artista ako at asawa ko si Chito,” she wrote in her IG post.

Neri said that contrary to what many believe, she actually owes her business success to the fact that she was exposed to business at an early age.

Through her peddling activities, she was able to learn how to deal with people and sell goods.

“Hindi nila alam, dyan ako nagsimula. Nagtinda sa Mines View at naglako ng mga ulam sa mga office. Bata palang, kailangan nang dumiskarte sa buhay. Dito nagsimula ang training kong maging wais,” Neri said.

In a previous post, Neri took a trip down memory lane back when she was still a young lass living in Baguio City.

Neri Miranda is an actress and entrepreneur in the Philippines. She got married to Parokya Ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda on December 13, 2014 and they have an adorable son named Miggy. In October 2021, Neri gave birth to their second child Manuel Alfonso Miranda, whose nickname is Cash.

In a bid to pass on to her kids her business acumen, Neri purchased a condo unit at SMDC Grass Residences for her son Miggy. She used the money earned by Miggy from his endorsements as a down payment for the condo unit. The property will be available for use this March and Neri will announce soon when it will be available for rent. The celebrity mom shared that the earnings she will get from the condo unit’s rent will go straight to Miggy’s bank account.

Previously, Neri also made her husband Chito go with her to a public market. While the Parokya ni Edgar front man at first declined, he was later seen in an IG post accompanying his wife in the said public market.
