Mygz Molino, in an interview with Ogie Diaz, admitted crying whenever he remembers his best friend, popular comedienne Noemi Tesorero, more popularly known as Mahal.

The comedienne died in August of 2021 after contracting the deadly coronavirus disease.

Mygz, who is very close to Mahal and used to sleep in the comedienne’s bedroom, said while he’s starting to move on, he admitted her memory lingers on.

“Everytime na nandoon ako sa bahay, talagang papasok sa isip ko ang mga ganung bagay, kasi bawat sulok ng bahay, bawat lugar, sa kuwarto, makikita mo talaga siya,” Mygz said.

When asked by Ogie if he still cries over the death of Mahal, the actor answered in the affirmative.

“Hindi po nawawala. Minsan. Tulad ngayon. Dahil napapag-usapan, hindi mo talaga mawala, sakit eh,” Mygz admitted.

He also said that he becomes gloomier when there are supporters who still don’t understand.

“Medyo nagdadamdam lang pag may mga supporters na hindi nakakaintindi. So hindi naman mawawala po iyon. Nandito tayo sa ganitong larangan. Pero siyempre tao din naman po tayo na nasasaktan,” he revealed.

He then expressed hope that the fans of Mahal and his fans would eventually understand and love each other.

Mahal, whose real name is Noemi Tesorero, is a Filipina comedienne and social media star. She starred in movies such as “Id'Nal" (Mapusok)” (2012), “Kokey” (1997) and “Mr. Suave: Hoy! Hoy! Hoy! Hoy! Hoy! Hoy!” (2003). Irene Tesorero, the sister of Mahal, revealed on August 31, 2021 that the comedienne passed away due to COVID-19.

Cristy Fermin once again defended Mygz Molino after he was dragged into the issue involving Noemi “Mahal” Tesorero’s bank account. In a column she recently wrote, Nanay Cristy said one of Mahal’s siblings allegedly questions the late comedienne’s remaining savings. The veteran columnist then claimed that it was actually Mygz who spend his own money for Mahal. Nanay Cristy even mentioned about Mahal’s fascination with clothes and shoes.

Cristy Fermin shared her two cents about Noemi “Mahal” Tesorero’s sibling who allegedly questions the late comedienne’s savings. According to Nanay Cristy, Mahal’s siblings should pray for their sister’s soul instead of talking about her bank account. The veteran columnist also aired the possible reason why Mahal allegedly had no enormous savings. Cristy said Mahal might have used her earnings for her personal expenditures.
