Cristy Fermin once again discussed the alleged financial problem that Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez are currently facing.

According to Nanay Cristy, the married couple lost millions of pesos because of Tom’s political ambition.
“'Yung sinasabi nitong huli, 'yung sa party-list, hindi lang pera ni Tom 'yun, milyones 'yon, pera nila ni Carla ito,” said the veteran columnist.
Nanay Cristy also overheard that Carla was against Tom’s alleged decision.
“Sinabihan na siya ni Carla na huwag pumasok. Aba'y papasok pala sa pulitika si Tom, ang laki ng ipinasok niyang pera doon sa party-list. E kaso, nu'ng sa Comelec, waley. Hindi aprubado, isa sa mga 126 yata na party-lists na hindi naaprubahan. Papano pa ngayon 'yan?"

Tom Rodriguez, whose real name is Bartolome Alberto Mott, is a Filipino actor, host, and singer. My Husband's Lover, I Can See You, I Heart Davao, and The World Between Us are just a few of the TV series in which he has starred. He is married to his fellow Kapuso artist, Carla Abellana.
Tom has recently disabled his comment section on Instagram. Cristy Fermin then reacted and said Carla Abellana was probably the reason why Tom turned off his comment section. It can be recalled that Carla recently went viral after she went on a liking spree of IG comments against the actor. These comments include the question: “True ba gay daw sya?"
Nanay Cristy also then penned a frank column titled, “Malisya sa hiwalayang tom at Carla, palala”. In the said column, Nanay Cristy said it is about time for Carla and Tom to break the silence on the issue.
