Cristy Fermin penned a frank column about Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez’s supposed breakup which once again became the talk of the town these past few days.

To recall, Fashion Pulis spotted Carla going on a liking spree of social media comments directed against her husband. These comments include the question: “True ba gay daw sya?”

In her latest column on Pilipino Star Ngayon titled “Malisya sa hiwalayang tom at Carla, palala,” Nanay Cristy reacted to Carla’s intriguing action.
“Lalo pang tumindi ang mga pagtatanong dahil sa pagla-like ni Carla sa tanong ng kanyang followers. May nagtanong tungkol sa infidelity, ni-like ‘yun ni Carla, makahulugan nga naman ‘yun para sa mga nakata¬naw lang sa kanilang mag-asawa.”
“Pero ang pinakamatindi ay nang i-like ni Carla ang tanong ng kanyang follower na wala namang binanggit na pangalan pero bigay na bigay namang si Tom ang tinutumbok nito.”
“Ang tanong, ‘True ba na gay raw siya?’ na ni-like rin ni Carla, ano raw ang ibig sabihin ng pagla-like niya?”
Nanay Cristy then went on to express her thoughts on the result of the said liking spree.
“Lalo tuloy pinagpistahan ang kuwentong umikot na diumano’y nahuli ni Carla si Tom na may ginagawang hindi kanais-nais sa pamamagitan ng tracking device.”
“Palala na nang palala ang mga kuwento, senyal na ito na kailangan na nilang magsalita, sagutin na nila ang napakara¬ming tanong tungkol sa kanilang paghihiwalay.”
According to Cosmopolitan Philippines, rumors about the celebrity couple’s alleged breakup circulated in January, three months after they tied the knot.
Carla Abellana is an actress and endorser who works for GMA. She is married to fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez. Before entering showbiz, she graduated with honors at De La Salle University with a degree in psychology. She gained prominence for playing the lead role in the Philippine adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Rosalinda.
Previously, Cristy Fermin cleared Kelley Day’s name after she was dragged into Carla and Tom’s supposed split. According to the veteran showbiz columnist, Carla is jealous of someone else, not of Kelley. Nanay Cristy also took a wild guess about the alleged third-party’s identity.
Also, in a Cristy Ferminute episode, Romel Chika noticed that Carla’s vlog intro still contains clips showing Tom. According to Nanay Cristy, this means that Carla is not yet closing her heart off to Tom.
