Toni Gonzaga recently expressed love and support toward Robin Padilla.
In an Instagram story on Sunday, February 27, the actress and TV host shared a thoughtful post where she tagged the action star and senatorial aspirant.
Aside from tagging Robin, Toni also tagged the former actor’s wife, Mariel Padilla, who was her former ‘Pinoy Big Borther’ co-host.
“We love and support you Idol @robinhoodpadilla @marieltpadilla,” Toni penned.

In the said IG story, Toni also included a YouTube link directing to Daddy Bonoy and Mommy Pinty Gonzaga's vlog where Robin paid a visit to Toni’s parents.
In the vlog, Daddy Bonoy and Mommy Pinty also went out with Robin to tour the latter around Taytay City.
Toni Gonzaga is a famous actress, television host, and YouTube star in the Philippines. She married director Paul Soriano on June 12, 2015 in Taytay, Rizal. Toni then gave birth to their first child, Severiano Elliott, on September 30, 2016. At their wedding, one of their godfathers is former senator Bongbong Marcos.
Direk Erik Matti recently aired dismay towards Toni in a viral post. Direk Erik took a swipe on the actress and TV host, who became trending for hosting the proclamation rally of Bongbong Marcos and Mayor Sara Duterte. The renowned director’s fiery post also gained comments from some celebrities like John Arcilla, Janno Gibbs, DJ Chacha, Lotlot de Leon, among others.
Robin Padilla then reacted to the film director's criticism of Toni’s public support of the Uniteam. Direk Erik said that Toni has the right to support who she wants to support but doing so brazenly is what’s upsetting for him. Robin then responded to Erik by telling him that Toni has the right to support the politicians she wants to support. He also accused the filmmaker of not respecting the freedom of others.
