Zanjoe Marudo, pinaliwanag kung bakit mananatiling Kapamilya: “Hindi naman na yun mababayaran ng kahit ano”

Zanjoe Marudo has explained why he opted to renew his contract with the Kapamilya network, ABS-CBN.

The actor began his career with the Kapamilya network after placing fourth in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 1 in 2006.
According to Zanjoe, he opted to stay with ABS-CBN because he is certain to have a “forever.”
“Sa ABS, sa Kapamilya, mas dun ako sigurado na meron akong forever,” Zanjoe said.

He then hinted on owing a debt of gratitude to the Kapamilya network, having been with them for a long time, adding that such relationship is priceless.
“Matagal na panahon na rin yung naging relasyon namin sa Star Magic. Hindi naman na yun mababayaran ng kahit ano,” the actor said.
Zanjoe recalled that when they were just starting out, all of their needs were taken care of, with Star Magic assisting them every step of the way.
“Nung nag-uumpisa kami, lahat ng kailangan, tulong na hiningi namin, ibinigay nila hanggang sa makarating kami kung nasan kami ngayon,” he explained.
The actor then said he believes the network needs their help now and indicated he’s very much willing to give back.
“Kapag dumating naman yung panahon na kami naman yung kailangan, sana naman nandun kami. Sama-sama isang pamilya, lahat magtutulungan. Hindi pwedeng sa sarap lang lagi o sa ginhawa,” Zanjoe said.
Zanjoe portrays the role of David Illustre, alongside Jodi Sta. Maria who plays the lead role of Dr. Jill Illustre, in the ABS-CBN hit series Broken Marriage Vow.
Zanjoe Marudo is a Filipino actor and model. He rose to fame when he joined PBB where he emerged as the 4th Big Placer of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 1. Since then he has starred in the TV series' Lovers in Paris, Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Kristine, Annaliza, Dream Dad, Tubig at Langis and My Dear Heart.
The actor considers himself very lucky for being paired with Jodi Sta. Maria in the Philippine remake of “The Broken Marriage Vow.” He said Jodi helped in a lot when it comes to the scenes they’re going to make.
In a media conference for ABS-CBN’s newest hit series, Zanjoe declared he will never tolerate a person who would cheat on his or her partner or spouse. The Kapamilya said while one could not stop himself or herself from falling for another person, there is always the choice whether he or she would pursue it or stop. He said that if such a person already has a partner or spouse and they have kids, it’s not right that they leave their family for another person. Zanjoe also said that never in his life has he advised any associate or friend to leave his or her family because they already found another love interest.
