The veteran showbiz columnist talked briefly about the relationship of the couple in an Instagram post.
Like many others, Nay Lolit expressed pleasant surprise on hearing the news about the coming wedding of Erich and Mateo.
She also said that perhaps Mateo saw that Erich is really fit for him.

The veteran columnist then gave her take about celebrities marrying non-showbiz personalities.
She said that there were some who can’t accept that a showbiz person can also be a good housewife and partner.
“Hindi kasi matanggap ng iba na puwede din maging isang mabuting housewife and partner ang isang taga showbiz,” she said.
Nay Lolit said the fate of the marriage relationship between a non-showbiz and showbiz couple really depends on where they take it.
“Nasa mag asawa ang magiging buhay ng relasyon nila, nasa partnership nila kaya hindi dapat maging problema kung galing sa showbiz ang isa. Kahit pa nga mataas na pamilya galing iyon partner mo, iyon pagsasama parin ninyo ang importante,” Nay Lolit said.
The veteran columnist then said that both Erich and Mateo are very lucky to have each other.
“Suwerte si Erich pero masasabi mo rin suwerte si Mateo. Kaya Wow na wow talaga,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.
She then congratulated the couple and wished them happiness forever.
“Congratulations Erich and Mateo, stay happy together, forever,” Nay Lolit wrote in her post.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
Nay Lolit recently took to Instagram and said that the reaction of many to the upcoming wedding of Erich Gonzales and Mateo Lorenzo was "wow." She said that the social status of the groom may be the reason why many are actually envious of Erich. The veteran columnist then said that the relationship of Erich and Mateo withstood the test of time already. Manay Lolit also added that it is possible that Mateo saw that Erich is really a deserving woman.
As regards relationship and motherhood, the veteran showbiz columnist previously shared on social media her own thoughts about Coleen Garcia, who brought her baby to the shoot. According to the veteran columnist, it was cute that Coleen brought her baby with her to the set. She said that indeed, it is quite difficult for a mother to leave her baby for a long time, after all, there is a yaya who would watch her baby while she is shooting. Lolit also said that it is safer to feel for a mother if her baby is near her and also added that a baby at the set is really a lucky charm.
