Jake Cuenca recently took to Instagram to express his grief over the death of his beloved grandmother.

While her “Lola Elvie” passed on around three weeks now, Jake said that the realization she’s no longer around sank in just very recently.

“The past 3 weeks have been a very difficult time for my family. It’s was very hard to set this aside for 3 weeks because I was on location shooting but today it finally sank in. My beloved Lola Elvie is not with us anymore,” Jake wrote in his post.

He then said he’s consoled with the thought that his Lola is in a better place now.

“I know you’re in a better place now and I know you are happy in heaven with tio Manoling,” the actor wrote.

The “Tio Manoling” that Jake referred to in his post is his uncle, Manoling Morato, who died in July last year.

In his post, the actor also said that he finds it difficult to think that her Lola Elvie is not here anymore.

“It’s still so hard to fathom that you’re not with us anymore,” he said in his post.

Jake expressed how much he loves and misses her Lola, then promised to remember always the time they’re together.

“I love you Lola elvie we miss you Rest In Peace. I’ll hold on to every memory we have together. I miss you already,” the actor wrote.

In parting, Jake gave an advice for everyone to tell their loved ones that they love them while they’re still around as no one knows what could happen tomorrow.

“If you have a chance to tell your loved ones that you love them take it, say it and mean it never be afraid to express love because we never know what tomorrow has in store,” Jake wrote.

Jake Cuenca is an actor, model, and endorser in the Philippines. He is currently in a relationship with actress and beauty queen, Kylie Versoza.
