Lolit Solis praised Queen of All Media Kris Aquino for being emotionally matured and for having a broad understanding of things.

The veteran showbiz columnist wrote her praise through a recent Instagram post.
“Ngayon ko lalo hinangaan iyon emotional maturity ni Kris Aquino, Salve. Pag meron napipikon sa mga kagagahan ko, naiisip ko si Kris,” Nay Lolit wrote.
She also commended the actress on how she is able to handle well Nay Lolit’s occasional absurdness.

“Ang husay niya i handle iyon pagka krung krung ko. Ang ganda ng acceptance niya sa mga kagagahan ko. Dedma lang siya, walang powertrip, at pati mga followers niya, class ang pagkapikon sa akin,” she said.
Nay Lolit said that with Kris, she was able to prove that people with high intelligence have broader and cool understanding of things and their surroundings.
“Ngayon ko lalo napatunayan iba talaga pag meron utak ang isang tao, mas malawak ang understanding, mas cool ang tingin sa paligid,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.
She said Kris is not into “power tripping” and would always respect the choice of others, which is why there is no bad blood or resentment between Nay Lolit and the actress.
“Wala iyon power tripping na puwede ko gawin iyan, puwede ko alisin iyan, puwede ko ipatanggal iyan. Basta gawin mo gusto mo, irespeto ko iyon choice mo, let us see what will be the outcome. Ganuon ka simple, ganuon kagaan. Kaya wala bad blood, walang resentment,” she pointed out in her post.
Nay Lolit admitted missing these qualities of Kris, which the veteran columnist said is so unlike new stars of today.
“Nakaka miss iyon hindi pagiging pikon ni Kris Aquino pag nakaka encounter ka ng mga stars na akala mo kung sino sa pagiging sensitive. Na para bang dapat lagi kang naka tungtong sa numero, palibhasa nga bobita kaya maikli ang isip. Basta kung ano sabihin ng followers tanggap. Kaya lalo pang nagiging bobita. Hay naku, ayaw ng kapalaran ng ganyan, dapat maganda at matalino ka, para perfect. Buo hindi kalahati lang,” Nay Lolit wrote.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
The veteran columnist also revealed in an Instagram post that she earlier planned to have a week-long social media detox. The veteran showbiz columnist, however, decided not to do so because she knows her haters would be pleased. Manay Lolit also opened up that she previously felt a little idle and wanted to take a break. But she remained active on social media for she doesn’t want her detractors to enjoy her absence.
In a separate post, she defended her friend and co-host, Cristy Fermin, amid the legal controversies that she’s facing at the moment. Nay Lolit said that as a writer like her, Nay Cristy knows the parameters of right and wrong. She then lamented the actions of some “newbies” in showbiz who opt to become combative to the point of launching a legal battle instead of having fellowship with another showbiz member. The veteran columnist then expressed gratitude for the presence of Atty. Ferdie Topacio whom she said is ready to help Nay Cristy in whatever legal issues she faces.
