Lolit Solis, 74, expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments regarding the controversies surrounding Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez's relationship.
Previously, KAMI learned that the two have been subject to 'split' rumors which they have yet to react to and formally address.
Following this news, the veteran columnist penned a lengthy post about the Kapuso couple on her Instagram account.

"Sayang naman iyon Carla Abellana/Tom Rodriguez romance, Salve. Aside from they look so good together, matagal na rin naman iyon relasyon nila kaya nakakahinayang talaga," she began.

In her post, Lolit mentioned that it would be hard to force a relationship to work if the love is no longer there among two individuals.
"Parang isang sample na na-outgrow ng isa't isa iyon nararamdaman nila kasi nga after a long relationship bigla parang hindi na nag work ang pagmamahalan nila. Mahirap naman ipilit kung talagang wala na."
The veteran columnist then simply hoped that Carla and Tom can remain friends since they were together for a long time.
"Pero sana they will end up as friends dahil nagtagal naman sila as lovers. Mukha naman parehong mabait ang dalawa kaya tiyak na magiging amicable ang kanilang paghihiwalay. Lovers no more, but friends forever, puwede naman di ba."
