Lolit Solis, in a recent post, said that Kris Aquino never indulged in power tripping even back when her mother, Cory Aquino, and later on her only brother Noynoy, were elected presidents.

She said that unlike other present-day celebrities who threaten those who offended them with lawsuits and complaints, Kris would just let them be.
“Ngayon ko lalo na appreciate si Kris Aquino. Nuon Presidente pa ang nanay niya , at kahit na ang kapatid na si Noy Aquino, never nag power tripping si Kris,” Lolit Solis said.
“May mga nagsusulat at nagbabalita ng hindi maganda sa kanya pero never na tinakot o complain ni Kris. Hindi niya ipinagmalaki ang posisyon ng nanay at kapatid niya,” she added.

“Hindi gaya ngayon ng ibang artista na tinatakot ng demanda o iko complain ang sinuman makatampuhan nila,” the veteran columnist said.
She opined that people who go on power tripping were allegedly insecured and could be a sign of their lack of understanding.
“Iyon bang hindi makaya ng utak nila na matanggap ang mali sa kanila kaya they resort to power tripping. Iyon ipakita na kaya niyang gawin ang isang bagay dahil may connection siya, o popular siya,” Nay Lolit said.
Nay Lolit said, however, that what such people don’t know is their tendency to go into “power tripping” mode further expose their weakness.
“Pero ang hindi niya alam iyon power tripping niya lalo pang nagpapakita ng kahinaan niya. Dapat talaga kapag nasa itaas ka, ang nasa paligid mo mga tao na meron mataas na comprehension o dunong para makatulong sa iyo,” she said.
The veteran showbiz columnist then gave an unsolicited advice to everyone who might be led into doing some power tripping.
“Huwag ka padadala sa mga tao na mahina din ang utak kaya mahilig manulsol. Mahina na nga utak mo, pati nasa paligid mo, kaya hayan, lalo pang lalabas ang pagkabobo mo. Ingat sa mga kasama, para lagi kang popular at sikat,” she said at the end of her post.
Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.
Lolit Solis took to Instagram and made a lengthy comment about Kris Aquino, especially since her birthday day is already drawing near. She said that she thought, Tetay would be celebrating Valentine's with a partner, only to find out that Mel is not really meant for her. According to Lolit, if one's personality is not as strong as Kris', then she would be winning over, and this must be accepted by her suitor from the very beginning. She later surmised that Kris may not be looking for a love life anymore, what's important is that she is happy on her birthday.
She also reacted to the public’s reaction to Willie Revillame’s contract not getting renewed by GMA 7. She wrote on Instagram that the public did not get too emotional about Willie’s departure from GMA because it is public knowledge that the comedian-host is wealthy. According to her, Willie will continue being wealthy even without a television program. The entertainment columnist added that Willie’s desire to help the poor will be tested after his GMA show ends.
