According to Lolit, the public did not get too emotional about Willie’s departure from GMA because it is public knowledge that the comedian-host is an extremely wealthy individual.

The showbiz writer said that Willie will continue being wealthy even without a television program.

Furthermore, Lolit said that Willie’s desire to help the poor will be tested after his GMA show ends. If Willie continues to help the poor even without sponsors, then his desire to help is authentic, Lolit stated.

“Ngayon mo makikita Salve na mabuti na lang at naka ipon ng malaki si Willie Revillame. Meron siyang mga yate, helicopter, ipinatatayong hotel at restaurant sa Tagaytay, maraming pera kaya hindi maghihirap kahit mawala ang programa at hindi ma renew ang kontrata.

“Sigurado ng magiging maganda ang buhay niya kahit pa nga hinto muna ang programa niya. At least sa dami ng pera ni Willie Revillame hindi na siya maghihirap.

“Kaya siguro hindi ganuon ka emotional ang pagtanggap sa nawala niyang kontrata dahil parang ang nasa isip ng tao, marami ka naman pera, kaya mong mawalan ng trabaho. Hindi mo kasi makita iyon panghihinayang sa mga tao na sana tuloy tuloy pa kasi kailangan niya ng trabaho, dahil siya ang nagsasabi na heto may yate ako, helikopter, maraming bahay.

“Masarap parin magiging buhay ko, at tutulungan ko parin kayo dahil marami akong pera.
