RR Enriquez criticizes Toni G’s bashers, points out VP Leni’s support for De Lima

RR Enriquez took a swipe at some of the supporters of presidential candidate Leni Robredo who bashed Toni Gonzaga for supporting Bongbong Marcos.

According to RR, some of VP Leni’s supporters bash Toni’s support for Marcos because of his connection to his dad, former President Ferdinand Marcos, who they accuse of political abuses and legal issues during his dictatorship.
However, RR pointed out that Robredo publicly supports a politician who has also been accused of misdeeds – Senator Leila De Lima.
De Lima, who is in the senate slate of Robredo, is currently in detention because of accusations that she was involved in the New Bilibid Prison drug trafficking scandal when she was the Justice Secretary.

Nevertheless, RR also told BBM’s supporters not to goad because Marcos also has Jinggoy Estrada in his slate.
Estrada was detained for years due to alleged corruption but was released due to a lack of evidence. On the other hand, De Lima has denied the accusations against her and many of her supporters claim that she was just a victim of political prosecution due to her rivalry with the current administration. Many supporters of VP Leni have also slammed BBM not only for his connection to his father but also for being convicted of tax evasion in the ‘80s.
After criticizing Toni's bashers, RR then urged the public to just respect each other's political views.
“Yung mga TAONG deeply insulted and disappointed daw kay Toni for supporting BBM dahil sa may malupit na kasaysayan kuno sa Pilipinas ang tatay (pertaining to Former President Marcos) pero HINDI DEEPLY INSULTED AND DISAPPOINTED sa Presidente na gusto nila suportahan dun sa pag support sa naka detain. How ironic.
“But anyways I don’t care po if sino gusto isupport ni Ms. Leni Robredo. I respect her personal choice!! Napatanong lang po ako.
“Huwag na tayo mag talo talo at madeeply insulted and disappointed dahil si BBM nga din supports Jinggoy and other politicians na may issue.. Kung sino gusto na lang natin support huwag na natin pakialaman
“Peace tayo everyone!! Huwag tayo mag away away. Mag bigay lang tayo ng mga opinyon para mas lalo lumawak ang pagkakilala natin sa mga iboboto natin. May three months pa tayo para mag isip. Kaya importante ang Vote wisely,” RR posted on Instagram.
RR Enriquez rose to fame after appearing on the variety and game program Wowowee as one of the dancers. Along with Mariel Rodriguez and Valerie Concepcion, RR became one of the show's hosts. She also appeared in the ABS-CBN comedy show Banana Split, alongside Angelica Panganiban, Pokwang, and many others.
In a previous report by KAMI, RR took to Instagram to express her reaction to Paolo Contis' viral post regarding his controversial separation with LJ Reyes. Paolo was also commended by RR for recognizing his mistakes as LJ's partner.
Previously, other celebrities reacted to RR's post in which she called out Lolit Solis. They all agreed with RR's judgment of Lolit's remark against Mark Herras.
