Kakai Bautista has taken to social media to call out Meralco.
KAMI learned that in an Instagram story on Wednesday, February 9, the actress and comedienne tagged the said electric power distribution company and ranted about the disconnection notice she received.
According the “First Lady” star, she received the notice when the date of disconnection is near.
“Style mo bulok. @meralcoph gusto mo ng pagbabago pero AYAW MONG AYUSIN ang sistema mo. Disconnection notice pag malapit na ang due pagkatapos mag intay na dumating ang bill?”

Kakai also frankly told Meralco, “AYUSIN MO. 2022 na!”
Along with her rant, Kakai also shared a photo of the notice she received.

Catherine "Kakai" Bautista is a Filipina actress who is also a host, singer, and comedienne. The actress also starred in the highest-grossing Filipino film, Hello Love Goodbye, alongside Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. She is currently one of the casts of GMA-7's "First Lady", the direct continuation of the television series "First Yaya", which is set to premiere on February 14, 2022.
As reported earlier by KAMI, Kakai has just stirred buzz on social media after she posted a photo she took with Gerald Anderson. In her online post, Kakai showed a fierce pose for the camera while the Kapamilya actor simply looked ahead. Her hilarious caption, however, prompted one netizen to warn her about Gerald which Kakai eventually responded to.
Meanwhile, Kakai’s previous TikTok video was able to inspire many netizens. In the said video she reposted on her Instagram page, Kakai could be seen dancing gracefully. The actress and comedienne said she posted the video for her body-shamers. Kakai furthermore told her followers to not let body-shamers “stop you from owning your power.”
