Willie Revillame, ayaw umano maging traydor sa GMA-7, ani Nay Cristy

- According to Nay Cristy, it was not true that it was GMA-7 who did not prepare a contract, rather, the contract was prepared but Willie did not sign it

- She said that there was another camp who was trying to woo Willie, so he does not want to sign the contract while another party was also talking to him

Cristy Fermin, in her latest Pilipino Star Ngayon column, said that Willie Revillame does not want to be a "traydor" against GMA-7.

The veteran columnist explained that GMA-7 actually prepared the contract for Willie Revillame, but it was the latter who informed them that he will not be signing the contract.

According to Nay Cristy, another camp was talking to Willie, Manny Villar's.

Hence, Willie did not want to sign the contract while also entertaining Villar's camp.

"Lumagay sa tama si Willie. Prinsipyo ang pinairal niya. Ayaw niyang pir­mahan ang kontrata habang may ibang kampong kumakausap sa kanya."

"Buung-buo ang kanyang desisyon, tatapusin na lang niya ang kanyang kontrata sa GMA-7 para makapag-isip siyang mabuti tungkol sa mga susunod na hakbang na gagawin niya, ayaw niyang mamangka sa dalawang ilog."

"Ayaw niyang maging traydor sa GMA-7 na du’n pa rin siya nagseserbisyo, pero meron pala siyang kinakausap na iba, gusto niyang maging malinis ang kanyang kartada."

In Rappler's report, the show will have its last airing day on Feb. 11.

GMA-7 also released its official statement on Willie's exit.
