AC Bonifacio’s mom, Cherry Tangcangco, may have found it necessary to react to the dragging of her daughter’s name in the controversial selfie involving Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, and Darren Espanto.

Andrea recently became the talk of the town when her selfie with Kyle Echarri and Darren Espanto, with all three of them on the bed, surfaced on the internet.

The speculations that followed prompted the management agency of Andrea to publish a statement denouncing the malicious imputations of some to the actress.

“We condemn those who are quick to judge and even went as far as creating rumors online, maligning our artist's reputation,” the statement reads.

However, Ms. Tangcangco, known to AC’s fans as Tita Cherry, might have found the inclusion of her daughter’s name in the statement as unnecessary, prompting her to react.

“First of all, the photo was taken after a vlog shoot where AC Bonifacio and Xyriel Manabat were also present,” part of the statement read.

Perhaps for Tita Cherry, the agency’s official statement inadvertently dragged the name of her daughter to the controversy.

“Huwag nyong idamay si AC,” her Ms. Tangcangco said.

She went on to lament the alleged story she hinted as being peddled by some.

“Huwag kayong gumawa ng kwento,” Tita Cherry further said.

Becky Aguila Artist Management, for reasons unknown, had removed the post of its official statement.

Anndrew Blythe Daguio Gorostiza, more popularly known as Andrea Brillantes, is a Pinay actress and recording artist. She was born on March 12, 2003 and is best known for her roles in "Annaliza" and "Kadenang Ginto." At present, Andrea is playing the role of Mira in the series, “Huwag Kang Mangamba.”

After the photo of Andrea with Darren and Kyle spread online, her management agency published a statement denouncing malicious rumors against the actress. They also clarified that the said photo was taken after their shooting in a vlog. The statement went on to say that the three are comfortable with each other and putting color on the photo smacks of malice.

A couple of days ago, Internet personality Xian Gaza posted an open letter for Andrea where he zeroed in on the recently-surfaced controversial photo of the actress with Kyle and Darren. The ‘open letter’ post has since gone viral, gaining some 50K reacts and 1K shares. In the said open letter, Xian told Andrea he doesn’t find anything wrong with having pic with friends while on the bed. The camp of Andrea has already issued a statement denying the malicious imputations of some and at the same time, explaining that the three took the photo after their vlog shooting.
