Morissette Amon revealed on social media that she and her fiancé, Dave Lamar, tested positive for COVID-19 after displaying mild flu-like symptoms.

Both of them got hospitalized but Dave was discharged earlier. Aside from getting COVID-19, Morissette was also treated for a condition in her intestines called diverticulitis.

Even if he was already discharged, Dave showed his love for his fiancée by staying with her in the hospital to take care of her.

According to the singer, she also had to take several IV medications that triggered severe headaches and vomiting.

Fortunately, Morissette has been discharged already but she still has a lot of medications to take as she recovers.

“for the past week, I was confined in the hospital since Sunday evening. both @davejlamar and I tested positive for Covid with mild flu-like symptoms, but I was admitted due to an issue in my colon called Diverticulitis.
“I had to take several IV medications which unfortunately triggered my super bad headaches then lead to vomiting.. I couldn't even eat 'cause I'd just throw it all up.
“this weekend, I was finally discharged with lots of meds to take with and take note but grateful that I'm allowed to continue my quarantine and healing at home,” Morisette posted on Instagram.
