Enchong Dee, during the last few days of 2021, opted to take a trip down memory lane by touring his childhood hometown – Naga City.

The actor was born in Naga, Camarines Sur and also spent his childhood days there.
In his most recent vlog where he appeared to embark on a “Naga Tour” before Christmas last year, the actor showed netizens the house where he grew up.
He expressed sadness, however, on seeing that his childhood house is not the way it used to be anymore.

“Para kumpletong-kumpleto talaga yung bisita ko, sabi ko, ‘gusto ko ipakita yung bahay kung saan ako lumaki,’ kaya lang, garden na lang ang naiwan. Wala na siya. Sobra akong lungkot, pero okay lang,” Enchong said as he pointed to specific areas in what used to be their old house.
The actor also showcased some signature dishes of Naga such as the ‘Bicol Express,’ ‘Kinalasan,’ and ‘Kinunot.’
He also showed the old pool area where he used to train as a swimmer.
“It’s a weird feeling. It’s a happy but a bit sad feeling na wala na siyang tubig but I’m here — a lot of things flashing back, a lot of childhood memories replaying in my mind right now. Masaya pero how I wish it’s as healthy as before when I was still swimming here,” Enchong said.
The actor admitted everything felt surreal for him, knowing that he’s again in the place where he grew up and where he started to dream.
“It’s so surreal, nandito na ako ulit. I’m so happy. Dito nagsimula lahat, lahat ng pangarap,” he said.
Enchong made the tour amid the looming cyberlibel case filed against him by DUMPER party-list representative Claudine Bautista-Lim over his allegations about her wedding spending spree.
Near the end of December last year, the prosecutors handling the case found it to have “probable cause” for formal filing in court.
Once filed, Enchong faces the prospect of getting arrested and paying bail for his temporary liberty while the case is being heard.
Ernest Lorenzo Velasquez Dee, better known as Enchong Dee in the entertainment world, is a Pinoy actor, model, and swimming enthusiast. He was born on November 5, 1988 to Maria Theresa Diño Velasquez and Johnson Molina Dee in Naga, Camarines Sur. He rose to fame after landing in his first major role in the TV drama Katorse. He also portrayed the role of Luis in Maria la del Barrio and also appeared in Ina, Kapatid, Anak. At present, he is under contract with Star Magic.
Enchong Dee might be facing a difficult New Year ahead as the Prosecutors Office in the province of Davao Occidental found “probable cause” in the complaint filed against him. The prosecutors’ resolution paves the way for the criminal case of cyberlibel to be filed in court. Depending on the appreciation of the judge who will be handling the case, he or she might immediately issue a warrant of arrest and require a certain amount as bail. The complaint stemmed from the Twitter post of Enchong several months ago where the actor made some allegations against DUMPER Representative Claudine Diana Bautista-Lim.
The actor, amid the issue with Rep. Claudine Bautista, greeted 2022 with a good dance video. He uploaded the video clip on IG and only made a very short caption, "Hello 2022." The actor did not mention anything about the case that was filed against him by the congresswoman. On the other hand, many celebs and netizens commended the actor's dance moves and his 'kagwapuhan.'
