Robin Padilla marked the first death anniversary of Royette Padilla with a heartfelt post on his Instagram account.

Royette is Robin’s elder brother and they have appeared in a couple of movies in the past where the senatorial aspirant portray the main role.

The post of Robin consist of a photo of what appeared to be either an urn or a candle with the engraved name of Royette.

He then captioned this post with words that radiate with love for his brother, saying that Royette is always in his heart and mind.

“Isang taon na kuya royet, lumisan lang ang katawan mo utol pero araw araw pa rin kitang kasama sa pusot isipan,” Robin said in his post.

The action star and senatorial aspirant then said he and his brother Royette are one.

“Ikaw ay ako at ako ay ikaw. Nagparenda lamang ako sa tadhanda kayat nandirito pa,” the senatorial aspirant continued.

Robin then added a meaningful statement that could lead one to think deeply what the actor really meant.

“Ilang buwan na lamang ay nalalapit na rin ang aking pag alis ng tapahoho at mababatid na rin kung anong bundok ang tatahakin at iiwanan,” Robin said.

Royette died on January 9, 2021, though the family did not disclose the real cause of his death.

Robinhood Ferdinand Cariño Padilla, better known as Robin Padilla, is a Filipino actor, director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born on November 23, 1969 in Daet, Camarines Norte to former Camarines Norte Vice-Governor and assemblyman Roy Padilla and Eva Cariño. Known as the “Bad Boy” of Pinoymovies for portraying gangster roles, he has played main character roles in the movies Bad Boy 1 and 2, Anak ni Baby Ama, and Grease Gun Gang. His three other siblings, BB Gandanghari, formerly known as Rustom, Rommel, and the late Royette, were all actors as well.

He is missing his two daughters and the joy and laughter they bring to him. The action star also misses seeing their smiles and feeling their unconditional love for him.
