Jennylyn Mercado, in a recent Instagram post, showed off her ‘baby bump’ as partner Dennis Trillo held her in front of the Christmas tree.

The actress confirmed she was pregnant only in October of this year.

This is the second pregnancy of Jennylyn, though her first with longtime partner Dennis.

The firstborn of Jennylyn was with actor Patrick Garcia.

In the photo, one could see Dennis lovingly holding and looking at Jennylyn.

He also had his hand on the actress’ tummy, which appeared to be a bit bigger nowadays.

The actress then captioned the photo expressing how grateful she is.

“Thankful and Grateful,” Jennylyn wrote.

A couple of months ago, the two experienced some scary moments when Jennylyn developed blood spotting in the middle of a taping.

The taping had to be suspended as the actress had to be rushed to a hospital, where fortunately, the doctor declared the baby as safe.

Last month, the couple held a gender reveal event where they announced it was a baby girl.

A couple of months ago, the artist management agency where actress Jennylyn Mercado belongs issued an official statement in her behalf. Earlier, reports indicate that Jennylyn was brought by an ambulance to the nearest hospital after encountering a medical emergency on the set of the series, “Love. Die. Repeat.” The actress was in a lock in taping and is doing heavy scenes for the said series. Her artist management agency, Becky Aguila Artist Management, did not go into specifics as to what happened to the actress but assured the public that she is now in “good condition and good health.”

Also previously, veteran columnist Lolit Solis shared on social media what she had heard about the alleged “pamamanhikan” of Dennis Trillo’s parents to Jennylyn Mercado. She said that if true, then she truly feels happy for the two. Lolit said that Jennylyn deserves the love of the person that she also loves and trust. The veteran columnist then gave the two her best wishes as they prepare to enter a new chapter in their lives.
