Venus Raj took a trip down memory lane with a picture taken when she was a Journalism freshman at the Bicol University. Along with this picture, she also shared a snap taken during the Miss Universe 2010 pageant.
The beauty queen penned an inspiring message for her followers. She reminded them to look at what a person can become in the future instead of looking at a person of who he/she is at the moment.
According to the post, the first photo was taken when she was in her first year in college. She recalled about having dreams, but she never expected them to come true.
"God is in the business of transforming lives. Never underestimate how God can transform yours. He can write better and bigger stories," part of her post read.

Venus Raj was most noted for being dethroned and later reinstated as Miss Universe Philippines 2010 due to her contested claim to Filipino citizenship, which she overcame.
After her title reinstatement, Raj placed as the fourth runner-up in 59th Miss Universe pageant where she popularized her fumbled answer "Major Major."
