Veteran columnist Lolit Solis recently bared in a social media post about the alleged “pamamanhikan” of actor Dennis Trillo’s parents to Jennylyn Mercado.

She said she only heard and read about the alleged “pamamanhikan” and if true, then it is a happy occasion.

In Lolit’s opinion, Jennylyn wouldn’t want to spend another chapter of her life without the man that she loves beside her.

The veteran columnist also said that Jennylyn deserves the care and love of the person she loves and trusts.

“Jennylyn Mercado deserves the love and care ng tao na mahal niya na pinagkatiwalaan niya,” the veteran columnist said.

Nay Lolit also opined that Dennis should be there always beside Jennylyn to support and stand by the actress at all times.

The veteran columnist then expressed her best wishes for the couple, noting that happy days are coming for the two.

Lolit Solis is a Pinay talk show host, entertainment news writer, talent manager and showbiz columnist. She was born on May 20, 1947 in the city of Manila. According to the veteran columnist, she spent her early life in a poor section of Lardizabal in Sampaloc, Manila. She has made numerous controversial remarks about known celebrities. She was also involved in the infamous 1994 Manila Film Scandal, where she induced several actors and actresses to announce different names as winners.

Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo took to their respective social media accounts to share their recent trip to Mt. Maynuba in Antipolo City. The celebrity couple was joined by both of their sons, Alex Jazz Mercado and Calix Andreas Ho. The blended family took a picture of them in Mt. Maynuba's summit where they did a jump shot. Netizens were pleased to see the couple and their sons getting along so well and enjoying their time together.

In her viral post, the actress went on to share that a new family business is currently "in the works."
