- He also said that they have agreed “under terms that are fair and mutually beneficial”

- The actress’ lawyer declined to further comment on the matter saying that VIVA and Nadine have agreed not to make any comments about the matter anymore

Nadine Lustre will stay with VIVA Artists Agency until the year 2029, according to a report by PUSH quoting the actress’ lawyer, Atty. Gideon Peña.

Last year, VIVA Artists Agency filed a lawsuit against the actress alleging breach of contract.

In a December of 2020 news report by ABS-CBN, among the issues raised by VIVA was the actress’ alleged work with entities without involving her agency.

The artist management agency stated at the time that the actress is has an exclusive contract with them and going directly to advertisers and other entities without them getting involved is considered a breach of contract.

However, according to a recent report by the Inquirer quoting Atty. Peña, the issues between Nadine and VIVA have been settled amicably.

He also said that it was Nadine’s decision to stay with VIVA on the condition that she’ll be the one deciding on things that relate to her “image” and “branding.”

Peña said that both parties then agreed to continue their professional relationship subject to certain situations.

A Manila Bulletin report also quoted Atty. Peña's statement declining to make further statements on the matter, saying that part of the agreement between VIVA and Nadine is to refrain from making any commentaries on the matter.

Nadine’s camp promised to continue making quality projects that would provide entertainment to her fans.

Nadine Lustre is a Filipina actress and singer. She was once a member of the all-female group Pop Girls. In Bagets: Just Got Lucky, she appeared as Georgina Evangelista. The said movie was a remake of the 1984 film.

Veteran columnist Lolit Solis was among the first to report about the legal settlement between Nadine and VIVA. She took to Instagram and revealed that the actress has allegedly ironed things out with VIVA. She then stated that after all, Nadine became famous because under VIVA. The veteran columnist then said that it would be better so Nadine could also show that she has an "utang na loob" to the production. For the veteran columnist, the house that brought one good fortune must not be left behind.

As for the actress, her posts were more about her vacation in Siargao and other matters. The actress recently talked about her life in Siargao to celebrity dermatologist, Dra. Aivee Teo. On YouTube, the 28-year-old star was invited to guest at Dra. Aivee's vlog once again. During their interview, Nadine expressed how happy she is to be living on the island. According to Nadine, life in Siargao is very simple, happy, and easy which helped her a lot.
