However, it was only recently that she made the admission over The Purple Chair Interview Presents YouTube channel with Tito Boy Abunda.

“A couple of weeks ago, you posted on your IG ‘new life chapter 1,’ ano ang ibig sabihin nun?” Tito Boy asked.

Angeline then revealed that it was because of the loss of her Mama Bob and secondly, she’s going to be a mother herself.

“Ako'y itatanong ko lang para klaro. oo, hindi buntis ka ba Angge?” Tito Boy pressed, to which the singer replied: “opo Tito.”

After the interview, subsequent posts of Angge on Instagram earned a lot of congratulatory messages.

Her most recent post, for instance, which has already gained over 46K likes, are full of congratulatory and supportive comments from both fans and celebrities.

“Salamat po sa inyo,” Angeline wrote in the caption box of her post.

Among the celebrities that congratulated her in the comments section were Candy Pangilinan, Karla Estrada, and Geneva Cruz.

It wasn’t clear why she opted to initially keep mum about her condition.

Perhaps it was because of the sometimes harsh bashings online.

As it turned out, however, her revelation earned her huge support online.

Angeline Quinto is a Filipino singer. She is also an actress. She rose to fame when she won Star Power, which was the Search For The Next Female Pop Superstar set up by Sharon Cuneta.

When news about her confirmation of her pregnancy broke out, veteran columnist Lolit Solis took to Instagram and revealed her thoughts on the pregnancy of Angeline. According to Manay, it's not a big deal anymore for a woman to get pregnant, after all, Angeline is single. She added that the singer's pregnancy has become such a big deal, when such things is no longer shocking in today's times. The veteran columnist then added that Angeline is not a teeny bopper whose career would still be affected if she gets pregnant.

The singer actress has also opened up about the father of her child during her interview with Boy Abunda. In the viral video, Angeline revealed that her non-showbiz boyfriend is actually three years younger than her. She also candidly talked about her boyfriend having children with another woman already which she also accepted. Moreover, Angeline shared that her boyfriend even got the chance to meet her 'Mama' Bob before the latter passed away.
