The couple tied the knot on November 25, 2016 at the The Blue Leaf Events Place in Ortigas.

To mark the milestone in their life as husband and wife, Rufa Mae posted several photos of their wedding along with her greetings for Trevor.

“Happy 5th wedding anniversary , I love you @ trevvvsilog,” Rufa Mae wrote as caption.

She also expressed her gratitude for her husband’s love and patience to her, as well as for treating her with kindness.

“Thanks for the love patience and kindness,” the actress further wrote.

Rufa Mae then wrote in the caption that “love moves in mysterious ways.”

She did not elaborate on what she meant by that.

The actress also took the opportunity to thank photographer Edwin Tan for taking her photos, as well as express her gratitude to her gown designer.

“Salamat for these photos @edwintan_ph and my wedding gown by @pepsiherreraedwintan,” she wrote.

She then indicated she would be coming home soon to the Philippines.

“See you soon Manila Philippines,” the actress wrote.

Rufa Mae got stranded in the US when she and her daughter went there to visit Trevor in February of 2020.

They were supposed to stay there for only a couple of weeks but the COVID-19 lockdowns forced her to stay in America for sometime.

Rufa Mae Quinto-Magallanes is a Filipina actress, TV host, comedian, and an occasional singer. She was born on May 28, 1978 in Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines. She is the eldest of seven children and is the second-degree cousin of Jean Garcia. Her showbiz career began with That’s Entertainment in 1996, and landed her first major role in Gloria, Gloria Labandera. She was the inspiration behind the international catchphrase ‘nose bleed,’ a term referring to a lack of English fluency.

Roughly two months ago, Rufa Mae expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Heart Evangelista for helping her sell some of her luxury shoe collection. According to Ruffa Mae, while she is also into fashion and that her collection is precious to her, there are more important things that needed attention because of the pandemic. The actress is now in the United States for over a year now after being stranded there due to travel restrictions brought about by the pandemic. She flew there to visit her husband and was supposed to stay there for a week or two but then the pandemic hit and she found herself extending her vacation.

In an online post, Rufa Mae also expressed her desire to see her shoe collection again as she considers them as her babies. According to the actress, because of the pandemic and all, she had to "leave and forget" her collections behind. She also revealed how Heart had been the one who cleaned her shoes, watches, and even her jewelry.
