Roughly two months ago, Rufa Mae expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Heart Evangelista for helping her sell some of her luxury shoe collection. According to Ruffa Mae, while she is also into fashion and that her collection is precious to her, there are more important things that needed attention because of the pandemic. The actress is now in the United States for over a year now after being stranded there due to travel restrictions brought about by the pandemic. She flew there to visit her husband and was supposed to stay there for a week or two but then the pandemic hit and she found herself extending her vacation.
In an online post, Rufa Mae also expressed her desire to see her shoe collection again as she considers them as her babies. According to the actress, because of the pandemic and all, she had to "leave and forget" her collections behind. She also revealed how Heart had been the one who cleaned her shoes, watches, and even her jewelry.
