Since there is no certainty when she would be coming back to the Philippines, Rufa Mae decided to let go some of her luxury items that were left at home.
“I am really into fashion but because of the pandemic and all, I have to leave and forget about them but daily, I think about all my collections, it's like my babies and my life also,” the actress said.
Heart then stepped in and bought all of the designer shoes being offered for sale by Rufa Mae.
The latter was so happy that it was Heart who bought it, being a longtime friend and all, that she immediately posted her thanks on Instagram.
“Aaaw thanks @iamhearte! I miss you and love you. I can't wait to see all my collections again in the Philippines…oh makes me teary-eyed,” Rufa Mae wrote in her post.
She also narrated how Heart prepared her pre-loved items before selling it. The two actresses have known each other since their teenage days and their respective families have been friends since 1995.
“Ikaw Heart huling kasama ko sa Pilipinas before I left for the USA, sino may akala na 'di na ako makabalik sa Pinas because of lock down and all. You cleaned all my shoes, jewelries and watches, siya din nagpunas isa isa sa shoes ko and she bought some, sold some to her friends,” Ruffa Mae narrated.
She said it’s really worth it to invest in things you love if only to provide inspiration and so one could be happy at work. However for now, Ruffa said her focus is more on her health.
